Dave Norton, Warren Bird and Lyn Potter between them, represent a total of over 100 years experience in the air-conditioning industry.
The individual and combined experience of the team has been involved in, and successfully managed, contracts which vary from office blocks, high rise flats, shopping centres, casinos, hospitals, computer rooms, high care areas, operating theatres, magistrate's courts and government buildings. Our current projects include mechanical services. Recently completed projects include the supply of air-conditioning to “Edge of the Sea”, a prestigious block of flats in Umhlanga Rocks, as well as the “Marriott Bank” project in Durban.
In recent years, the group has ventured into Central Africa, with work coming from Mauritius, Zambia, Mozambique and Rwanda. Airvent Co. recently secured and completed one of the biggest VRV projects in KwaZulu-Natal to date (R2,850,000.00) in the Iscor Kumba Resources project in Richards Bay and Empangeni. Another prestigious installation has been the provision of air-conditioning to the Liberty Life Midlands Shopping Centre in which a total value of R21,000,000.00 was successfully completed with a 10 month installation period. We are pleased to inform you that due to the success of the first phase, Airvent Co. has recently been awarded, and completed, a second phase to the shopping centre valued at R9,000,000.00.
